In which countries does it include coverage?

 

Company insurance plans offer worldwide coverage. This means that it covers the insured in any country in the world, except their country of residence. They may also not cover countries that are excluded to comply with international sanctions programs.

Who can sign up for this insurance? 

 

These travel insurances are designed for corporate groups who have employees that travel internationally for business. Depending on which plan you choose, it may require you to hire a minimum of days per year in order to be accepted. Some plans may also require you to have a minimum of workers in your company in order to qualify for their plan. 

Every member of the company's payroll can be included in the plan. However, seasonal or temporary workers as well as consultants and volunteers are not eligible.

Eligibility Requirements for the Insured

 

In order to enroll one of your workers, they must meet the following requirements:

  • Reside in a country other than the United States and Canada, or any of their territories
  • Be up to 79 years of age.
  • Pay the contracting party the corresponding premium.
  • Parents or legal guardians can purchase policies for their children who are traveling unaccompanied from the age of 5.
